When old devices are tossed away without thought, they don’t simply vanish. Inside them lie toxins — lead, mercury, cadmium—that seep into soil and water when handled carelessly. My project draws attention, almost playfully, to the importance of recycling: from an abandoned electronic device rises an “e-waste island”, where plants take root and nature slowly returns. It shows that only through proper recycling can we regain precious resources and protect the environment in a lasting way.
